Minato's Making More Moves in League History Book
Army West Point's Kelsey Minato earned her fourth Lids Team Sports Women's Basketball Patriot League Player of the Week award on Monday, following another impressive week on the court. With the honor, she has a career total of 14 POW awards and is now the all-time leader in Patriot League history. And the season is far from over. The senior guard had posted her second-straight 30 point game, scoring exactly 30 points versus Lafayette after totaling 35 against Bucknell, and most recently, she netted 23 at home against Loyola Maryland to help the Black Knights improve to 3-1 in the League. So far this season, Minato has totaled 336 points for a career mark of 2,149 -- just 313 points from tying Bucknell's Molly Creamer (1999-03), the all-time leader, with 2,462 points. She is averaging 25 points per game and if she keeps that up with 14 games left in the regular season alone, she's well on her way to surpassing the League record.

Army West Point also appears in several team stats among DI programs, with its highest ranking being No. 2 in three-point FG percentage at 41.9 (203-of-246).
